Welcome to the home page of the Washington Banner Network (WBN).
The Washington Banner Network is a no-cost service that allows
you to advertise your web site to a large audience of other
Washington, DC oriented sites for free! The WBN is part of the
Washington, D.C. Registry, which is visited by over 300,000
people each month (and we mean people, not hits). If you
are familiar with the Internet Link Exchange and other such
banner exchange networks, ours works in a very similar fashion.
We are pleased to announce that we have just released Version
2.0 on December 26, 2001. This version now includes a faster
banner display engine, as well as the ability for members to
upload their own banners. It also includes an automated
signup process. If you would like to start advertising for
free on other Washington, DC area web sites, please follow
the link below.

Current Members
If you are currently a member of WBN who signed up before
December 26, 2001, you are using the old version (1.0), and you
can log onto your account using the second box below. However,
you are strongly encouraged to sign up for Version 2.0 as soon as
possible, because this new version includes a number of
advantages over the old version, including a faster banner
display engine and the ability for you to upload your own
banners to our server. Also, while we will continue to maintain
the old version for now, we will eventually retire it. Due to
architectural differences between the two versions, it is not
possible for us to migrate over the old accounts, so please sign up for Version 2.0 now! and
replace your old WBN code on your web pages with the new WBN
code that you will receive when you sign up for Version 2.0.
WBN members who signed up for Version 2.0 on or after
December 26, 2001 should log on using the first box below.
You can now review your membership profile, including the
number of banners that your site has displayed, the number of
times your banner has been displayed on other sites, the
number of times your banner has been clicked on, and more, by
logging on using the first form below.
