Mission Statement
The Northern Virginia Homeschool Group exists to provide superior academic instruction in all subjects at all levels and consultations for homeschool students of Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C..

Instructional Services
We provide instructional support for homeschool students in all areas of academia. Our instructors possess Master's and Doctorate degrees in their fields of study. We can tutor and teach in all academic subjects, including foreign languages, and at all levels. We provide superior instruction in test preparation for the SSAT, SAT, and other common entrance exams. Why pay ETS and the Princeton Review thousands of dollars when we can provide better, yes BETTER, support for half the cost? We are very experienced, knowledgable and sensitive to the needs of homeschoolers and their families.

Director Biographies
Adam Johnson and Burt Fulmer graduated from Georgetown University in 1992 with degrees in English and Philosophy, respectively. They have since received advanced graduate degrees from George Mason University. Johnson and Fulmer founded the Fairfax Collegiate Learning Center of Annandale,VA and Tutoring For Tomorrow of Arlington,VA in 1997. Their center offers tutoring in all academic subjects at all levels and organizational and study skill programs. They have over fifteen combined years of tutoring experience and are capable of teaching all levels of English, mathematics through Calculus, all K-12 history and social studies, all high school sciences, SAT, SSAT, and other common entrance exams. Johnson and Fulmer have had great success with area public and private school students and have the references to support this claim. We succeed with all students. We treat all students with respect and work to build self-esteem along with academic ability.

Consultations
If your student is at odds with his/her current educational system then speak with us. We are experts on educational alternatives. We provide consultations for families interested in homeschooling. We are able to provide support in choosing the best homeschool for the student, the best learning strategies, and the soundest advice on how and where to proceed.
