JERRY
MAGUIRE (starring Tom Cruise)
It was well-worth taking a break from
the shopping masses clogging the byways of the Pentagon City Mall to see
Jerry Maguire. The movie stars the always hot Tom Cruise in the title role
as Jerry Maguire.
Jerry Maguire is a sports agent who after
suffering a crisis of conscience, eschews the acquisitiveness of his cutthroat
business to focus on the "intangibles" of life. Of course, his newly found
philosophy gets Jerry fired because as one character states, it's all about
showing me the money! Personally, I agree with the showing me the money
philosophy.
Jerry Maguire is a great date
movie: funny, sweet, and romantic. And I think guys will actually like
it too!
Also noteworthy is Cuba Gooding, Jr.'s
performance as an "aging" football star. He is hilarious and what a tight
ass! Watch for those locker room scenes. You also get to see Tom Cruise
banging his bitchy fiancee (Kelly Preston) against a bookcase while she's
screaming, "Don't ever stop fucking me!". I know I and every other woman
in the audience would be echoing that statement in the same situation
